Voluntary Contribution Procedures for SCVCOA Programs(Support Services – Counseling, Meal Sites, Meals on Wheels, Family Caregiver Support Program.)

All clients of SCVCOA have an opportunity to make a Voluntary Contribution for specific Older American Act Programs including Support Services “Counseling and other services”, Family Caregiver Support Program, Meals received at meal sites, and Meals delivered at home – “Meals on Wheels”.

All contributions are completely voluntary, and contributions will be kept confidential.

Contributions can be made by check made out to SCVCOA and please put in the Memo line which program you are supporting.

Contributions can be made on-line at myscvcoa.org/donate/

These procedures will be posted and be available at all program sites to inform clients of the opportunity to make a Voluntary Contribution to specific SCVCOA Programs. All staff will be trained on this process and procedure.

All clients will be informed during Intake of this opportunity for Voluntary Contributions – but there is no obligation.

The SCVCOA Accounting Department will ensure that all contributions or lack thereof are kept confidential and never release names or amounts.

All funds will be kept in a restricted account and only used to expand the program and supplement funds received from the Older Americans Act.

The SCVCOA will never deny any older person a service if they cannot or will not make a contribution.
